Default Historical Uniform question

I found this postcard (attached?) of a parade of women soldiers, IDF, circa 1960's. They are in dress uniform of the period and I am curious as to what type of hat are they wearing. TIA

John

A few different views.

They always looked better with the mini-skirted uniform.
Of course you looked at them then......

It seems that their uniforms must have changed in the late 60's or 1970. I found a magazine in my bunker at fsb bayonett of two young ladies that were in the Chen. The uniforms they were wearing were alittle more eye catching then the ones I saw here. Some reason I cut them out and have had them in my Nam scrap book for 40 years.

My guess is that this photo is from the early 60s.

I started my IDF careeer in the early 70s, and I can tell you that some of the dress uniform mini-skirts were literally breath taking. One stands out ahead of the rest. Shoshi, where are you now? We would have dated, but your father wanted us to get married first. sigh.

Short for Shoshana. She was an Education Officer, and that rare stunner who had no clue how attractive she was while living life with a smile for everyone. Her father and brothers, on the other hand, sure did.
