Just one question. You say you cannot fire your Galil, why?? How are the laws worded, that you can own, but cannot fire??

Just curious. I have wanted a 308 Galil for a long time!

Just curious. I have wanted a 308 Galil for a long time!

The Galil model 332 is prohibited in Canada . I can keep it but can't do nothing with it . Can't use it at any shooting range ... I can allway take a chance and bring it to a farm or a place where nobody go to shoot with it but I would risk big troubles ....
When I got it around 1985 , it was like buying a little single shot .22 .

If the barrel is less than (IIRC) 18" then it's automatically a restricted weapon.
