![]() How much distance running is there in basic training? I'm looking for as un-ambiguous an answer as possible (distances, frequencies of runs) I am trying to decide between Golani and Totchanim. I am a former college rugby player and I am used to High Intensity Interval Training but pure running for 20-30 minutes (or more) without stopping has always been my achilles heel. If I join Golani am I going to be kicking myself a few weeks in? What about totchanim? Please don't mistake my question for naivety. I know the military will be difficult. That's one of the major reasons I want to join - to learn, grow, improve, strengthen myself physically mentally, etc. but if the answer to the question is that golani makes you run 10km 4x a week...idk I might consider an alternative. Thank you in advance for your help.
